Bruce MacDonald, D-Boothbay, Sen. Seth Goodall, D-Sagadahoc, and Rep. Mike Clarke, D-Bath. Pert is the only person in the history of the Maine State Legislature to have served as both the Clerk of the Maine House of Representatives (from 1975 to 1992) and as the Secretary of the Maine State Senate (from 1964 to 1966). Pert also represented Bath in the Maine House of Representatives in the 99th Legislature. He joined dozens of fellow legislative staff, State Representatives and State Senators who have previously worked or served in the State Legislature for the annual Welcome Back Day at the State House.
