The Sagadahoc County Democratic Committee (SCDC)

The Sagadahoc County Democratic Committee’s purpose is:

To promote the ideals and principles of the Democratic party

To encourage and maintain participation of enrolled voters in the County

To promote leadership and coordinate with municipal committees

To elect Democrats

The SCDC consists of representatives of all ten towns within the County. Meetings are generally held the third Tuesday of the month. Municipal committees may also meet on a monthly or as-needed basis.

Sagadahoc currently has three elected representatives to the Maine Democratic Party, in addition to the Sagadahoc County Chair, who also serves on the MDP committee.
